Re: Need help on setup
Update. I tested the Cardco "Card / Print B" and "Card / Print +G" (remove the Retro-Printer Pin 18 Jumper) and the Micro R&D "Micrografix MW-350" (Rom v1.91) (using only Retro Printer Pin 18 jumper) on both the C-64C and the Ultimate64. All of the printer interface...

Re: Need help on setup
Hi there, I didn't get to work to much on it today, had to get the heater fix (which is in the attic). A high power cable inside the unit overheated and melted the insulation, which you could smell in the middle of the night. Also the circuit breaker was to big for the unit. This could have started ...

Re: Need help on setup
Hi there, on your last response, I haven't never been asked for the root username or password. Currently I am using http://raspberrypi:631/admin/. If I go to "Printers" tab, I have listed "Queue: Envy 5530 Series, Description: HP Envy 5530 Series, Location: raspberrypi, Make and Model...

Does Pin 18 provide +5v
Hi there I just recieved a Micrografix Parallel Printer Graphic Interface MW-350 for the C-64. Normally it depends on power from the printer. Pin 18 on a printer supplies +5v. I was wondering if the printer port on the Retro-printer supplies +5v at Pin 18. If not, I might need to get a AC adapter, b...

Re: Need help on setup
Hi there, I did find my IP address for the Retro-printer, I had the ethernet hooked up to my router and the Retro-printer. I was able to print a test page from Windows. So the Retro-printer is working. My HP Envy 5530 is only connected to my PC computer through Retro-Printer via Ethernet. But I can'...

Hi there, I will give it a try later. I understand the general steps now on the setup. Had to install a new router for other reasons. Take care.

I haven't been able to go to this site (retro-printer:631), broswer can't find this address. Try to go to this site before writing this post. I did setup the Print +G DIP switches inside to Epson type settings. Set DIP 7 (ASCII Correction) and DIP 8 (Auto Line Feed) to on.Take care.
