RetroPrinter Support

Hi,

I think that I can make a suitable Centronics cable for the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum +2A/B,+3 computers.

My main concern is the the Amstrad CPC464 & 6128 use 7 bit data transfer from computer to printer, would this cause a problem with tgr Retro-printer printing?

My, apollogies for bad workmanship of the Retro-printer v3 Centronics adapters.

I have fitted shrink wrap tubing on the internal soldered wire connections, which with prevent short circuit between the adapter solder wires terminals.

I have also changed my Soldering Station from a Tuloka 701C ...

I tried this on an Acorn Electron & Plus 1. The Plus 1 adds a printer port to the Electron.

To get the screen ouput spoolng to the printer, affter CTRL B. I had to issue *FX6,1 and the everything on screen went the printer via RetroPrinter correctlt.

All sorted out now, I reinstalled the Retro-Printer Linux image , set my Canon MG3250 as default CUPS printer.

I set all the setting as explained.

I connected a Sinclair QL via a Miracle Systems SERial to PARallel adapter to the Retro-Printer and print out ...

Hi everyone

I'm very happy with my RetroPrinter. I can now use it to print BASIC listing from my BBC Micro (Model B). I'm using RetroPrinter with a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and printing to a Canon MG7550 network printer.
