PrinterToPDF Updates

The latest version of the PrinterToPDF project is available from our GitHub. Please feel free to contribute or raise questions.

v1.4 Released
v1.4 has been tidied up a bit and copies across the following improvements to v3.2 of the Retro-Printer Software:

- Improve line spacing handling (add different measurement for 9 pin dot matrix printers)
- Ability to configure the page size (we currently support A4 portrait, A4 landscape, US 12" paper portrait and 12" fanfold paper.
- Abilitiy to configure whether to use the default top and bottom margins - A4 (top 8.5mm, bottom 13.5mm), 12" paper (top 9mm, bottom 9mm)
- Ability to convert all CR characters to LF (auto linefeed)
- Support for the extended control codes (character codes 128 to 255)

I have just uploaded v1.5 of this software onto Github - this incorporates a few minor speed improvements.

I have now uploaded v1.6 which includes some changes around reading in a file and fixes some bugs which were preventing it compiling).

The instructions have also been updated to make things a bit clearer when it comes to compiling the PrinterToPDF.

Minor update (v1.6.2) added today to fix issues with the NLQ mode

Minor update (v1.6.3) has now been released which improves the read_byte_from_file() sample code to improve the speed.

We have also clarified some of the comments.

v1.7 has now been released - there are quite a few changes thanks to input from one user in particular.

It also now uses some of the fonts we developed for the Retro-Printer module.
