- Zeiss Humphrey Automated Visual Field Analyzer
The FSA Spectrum Analyser was the first to be reported back as working successfully with the Retro-Printer module. There is however, a slight oddity here, as the Analyser equipment uses some kind of unknown colour palette which GhostPCL does not appear to understand (or handle). The user is trying to create a python script to convert the colour information prior to processing to get around this.
The Zeiss Humphrey Automated Peripheral Visual Field Analyser tested was the base model 720i but there will be higher models which also work. Here the data being captured was PCL data and the user wished to convert it to PDF for electronic storage. Apparently, although the equipment outputs PCL data, support for printers is poor as the customer did try a newer HP printer with parallel and usb and it wouldn't work.
Thankfully, with the Retro-Printer connected, the data was automatically converted to PDF format for electronic data storage.
