Thanks to Patrick, I have at least been able to confirm that BOTH of you have the same issue where bit 0 is not being set on captured data.

JBrains now has a replacement (tested) retro-printer module so hopefully can confirm whether it is a fault with the Retro-Printer.

I would suggest we wait for feedback on the replacement Retro-Printer. The next step is to ensure you are both using the same software - latest SD card image can be downloaded from: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1evfc9tccf5zk ... c.img?dl=0

We can then begin to try and find out what the commonality is between you.
