Tandy / Radio Shack DMP-105 Printer

I have been looking at supporting the Tandy / Radio Shack / TRS-80 DMP-105 dot matrix printer.

It appears to support similar commands to the Epson ESC/P printers - does anyone have much experience with this printer or interest in using the Retro-Printer as a replacement?

Did you try this yourself or only going off the documentation, RWAP?

I have only looked through the documentation so far - I need time to do the actual development so there needs to be a market for it!

There is a fairly active and big Color Computer on Facebook (mostly US) and also in other countries.

Color Computer users often bought the DMP-105 to go with their systems. I did too. I have a big collection of software that works with that printer and I know for sure I'd love for this to be supported and would factor this in my buying decision.

We do now have a working prototype emulator for the DMP-105 - we just need some brave souls to help test it!
