Windows XP cannot find Retro-Printer as Network Device

A customer recently had problems getting a Windows XP to map the Retro-Printer files as a network drive
"windows XP mapped drive error 71"

The answer was to edit /etc/samba/smb_conf

And add the lines:
client min protocol = NT1
server min protocol = NT1

to the [global] section
