I bit the bullet and cut 26, 25 & 23 which made no difference
Not sure what to do with 21 though as in the list it says it's "READY" then underneath says NC
Have ordered a replacement PIA in case the one in the Opus is faulty
May try a bit of electrical tape on pin 21 and see what happens

I hadn't crimped the centronics plug fully home to the cable
It works with/without Tokens ("t" & "b" options) though line spacing is a little different but that is probably CR/LF settings
Will PM you the outputs from the Opus in case they contain any useful information

The line spacing turned out to be a case of RTFM
To open the opus printer with tokens on I was using open #3;"t" which adds CR/LF (whereas tokens off "b" only sends CR)
By changing to open #3;"t";2 it only sends CR
The sample token emulator document you sent me, based on a tokens off output, is actually identical to the output I get from the opus other than TAB shouldn't be printed out
