Real Time Clock (RTC) Options

We are currently considering making some USB-RTC modules as the Raspberry Pi lacks a battery backed realtime clock.

This would help the Retro-Printer where there is no internet or network connection available to set and maintain the time on the Raspberry Pi. This can be especially useful in settings where the data being printed needs to be secure and therefore is not allowed to connect to a network.

Whilst there are existing RTC modules for the Raspberry Pi, unfortunately, they share the same pins as the Retro-Printer module, and therefore cannot co-exist.
