RetroPrinter Support

We have now received some quotes for case production and in-factory production of the Retro-Printer v3 Module (HAT), so subject to sorting out cash flow, we are set to place an order.

The case will be aimed at using the Retro-Printer module with a Raspberry Pi (Quad core version) so that means a Raspberry Pi Model 2 B, or Raspberry Pi Model 3 (possibly others?)

However, I have also been busy testing the module (and tweaking the software), so that the HAT can be used on a range of platforms, even if the layout means that you might struggle to fit them into a case.

I have tried :

Raspberry Pi Model 2 B
Raspberry Pi Model 3
Orange Pi PC
Banana Pi M1+

- these all work

Odroid C1
- this has some issues in that the current wiringPi library does not provide access to wiringPi pins 8 and 9 which we use for the least insignificant bit of incoming data (oops) and the power LED.

I have raised this with Hardkernel that designed the Odroid and maintain their version of WiringPi - so hopefully it is something they can address.

Performance wise, the Raspberry Pi Model 3 and Odroid C1 are the quickest, with the Banana Pi probably the slowest.

Are there any other common devices that people would like to see the Retro-Printer being used with?
