We have now written a new emulator for Printronix printers. It supports both the Serial Mode and the P-Series mode.

We are currently testing this, as it is not a well known format and would welcome some more test files to try!

We now have a range of files, including both P-Series and Serial data (though we have not yet tried the edit mode).

It has proven to be an interesting exercise - as when it comes to bitmap line graphics printing, the command to identify the line of data as graphics can appear anywhere within the line, so you have to buffer everything until a new line or form feed is received in order to determine whether the data received was text or graphics!
