Raspberry Pi Modules Arriving

Post by RWAP »

In trying to supply our various customers, we have had various issues over the past few years due to the global problems of obtaining the Raspberry Pi 3 modules.

One of the main issues has been that as well as building the Raspberry Pi into Retro-Printer modules, we needed to be able to offer them separately to exisitng customers. This was not recognised as a business use by the Pi Foundation and with us operating as an SME, they were afraid of us securing a supply to then "scalp" the units - offering them on auction websites at hyper-inflated prices.

Whilst one of the major suppliers has accepted back orders willingly, they have then gone on to cancel the orders after several months waiting without notifying us or providing any real explanation, despite us raising complaints that they were doing this.

We have however, now secured several Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ units, with Pi 3 Model B units expected next week, and more at the end of October.

This does at least allow us to supply eagerly awaiting customers, and offer both the v3 and v4 Retro-Printer modules again for immediate purchase:

Of course, if you need just the module, these are available separately.
