Using with ZX Spectrum - little note
I use a Multi-Print centronics interface on my ZX Spectrum to connect to my RetroPrinter device. The MultiPrint manual does'nt seem to mention that you should turn your printer on before turning on your Spectrum. After experiencing some strange behaviour on my Spectrum, I then recalled reading about another printer interface where it explicitly stated you should fire up your printer first. So I tried always turning my RetroPrinter on before my Spectrum and the strange behaviour went away. So now, whether I am intending to use the RetroPrinter or not in a session, I turn the RetroPrinter on first. I suspect if I disconnected the printer cable I would'nt need to do this, but have'nt tried this, as its easier just to turn everything on as discussed. PS There are often a number of variables involved, so this might not always be the case, but I think its worth doing it anyway just in case
