Whilst the data capture has been working well so far, we have hit a few edge case scenarios where one or two characters on a graph could be apparently corrupt. We have not been able to replicate this in the past.
However, a client had an issue when printing from an old DOS based program to a HP 5si printer - we installed this under Windows 11 and hit the same issue, which we tracked down as being mainly due to how we were interpreting / removing the HP PJL codes (Printer Job Language) which have to be removed before the file can be processed by GhostPDL.
We have adjusted the timing and how we manage this code matches, and the system now seems a lot more robust.
If anyone wants to try the new version of the software before it is released, please let us know.
