RetroPrinter Support

Hi everyone

I have used the (centronics) RetroPrinter very successfully over the last few years on a range of vintage machines, as you will have seen from my previous posts overtime. It's credit to the device and the creator that I can do so without having much technical knowledge.

Not being very technical, I need to just check my assumption that you can have more than one RetroPrinter running simultaneously on the same home network connected to the same Wi-Fi printer is correct?

Yes, you can connect more than one Retro-Printer to the same network - however, you would need to rename each Retro-Printer device - as the default "Retro-Printer" will confuse the network.

To change the name of the device, connect one at a time to the network, open a command line console and then enter the command

raspi-config

Select network options, and then Set Hostname.

Edit the text appropriately, save and reboot.
