RetroPrinter Support

Hi everyone

I'm very happy with my RetroPrinter. I can now use it to print BASIC listing from my BBC Micro (Model B). I'm using RetroPrinter with a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and printing to a Canon MG7550 network printer.

Well done to everyone who's made this possible.

I have a Canon MG3250 printer, can you tell me what the settings you have configured your MG7550 for use with Retro-Printer.

Having spoken with Derek, this appears to be a misunderstanding on the configuration options required for handling plain text captured by the Retro-Printer.

You need to retain the original printer settings (emulation = epson) and (Output_Printer = Yes).

Yes it is me you spoke to...

All sorted out now, I reinstalled the Retro-Printer Linux image , set my Canon MG3250 as default CUPS printer.

I set all the setting as explained.

I connected a Sinclair QL via a Miracle Systems SERial to PARallel adapter to the Retro-Printer and print out the Sinclair QL "WIN1_BOOT" file, which the printer printed out perfectly.

Hello Everyone,

I am very happy with my new RetroPrinter which I used to replace the 'M304X Series Line Printer by Fujitsu Limited' in my company.

I used RetroPrinter version 3 module (which came with adapter for Cintronics cable) and R-pi version 3 B (V1.2). I installed the 8GB system image on 16GB microSD card (SanDisk Ultra 16GB Ultra Micro SDHC class 10). I am using it R-pi as a 'Network Drive', so that anyone with in the company can access and mange the documents on the RetroPrinter.
