The Retro-Printer module has now been successfully tested with the Commodore C64 Home Computer.

However, there is a slight adjustment needed to the hardware, as the C64 expects 5V on pin 18 - you will need to connect a wire from the diode (D1) to pin 18 on the Retro-Printer module to make this work - see http://forum.retroprinter.com/viewtopic ... 3&p=92#p92

We are looking at how we can support the different pin out requirements

I was wondering if this had been fixed. I purchased RetroPrinter (v.4) and Raspberry 3 B+ about a year ago.. But haven't done any experiments, still waiting to get my C64C back. Also plan on getting a C-128. I do have two Ultimate 64's one with a user port installed on the side for a future modem.
I have a Cardco Card G+ Centronics Parallel Printer Interface for the C64.

Yes - the v4 Retro-Printer has 3 jumpers on the left hand side which are used to enable / disable power to specific pins, including pin 18

Hi. Does anyone have the v4 working with a C64 & Connexions interface (User Port -> Centronics) please?

As soon as I hook everything up, even with the C64 turned off, the RP starts generating PDF's full of garbage output

The 3 power jumper pins are currently all enabled, should I be trying with only pin 18 enabled?

Anything else I should look at please?

Many thanks

Have mostly got this working now, just need to try something a bit more testing than “HELLO WORLD”

Basically I just removed the power jumpers, other than 18, and now I get the text without any garbage

Many thanks
