Bear in mind you are asking someone who doesn't own a CPC6128.

That looks to be the wrong type of cable again - the Schneider CPC use a centronics like adaptor on the back to communicate with disk drives, so the other end is unlikely to fit on the CPC printer port unfortunately.

The cables are fairly easy to make - getting a hold of the right parts is harder (and expensive)

I think that I can make a suitable Centronics cable for the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum +2A/B,+3 computers.

My main concern is the the Amstrad CPC464 & 6128 use 7 bit data transfer from computer to printer, would this cause a problem with tgr Retro-printer printing?

I have a Spectrum +2B & +3, which are all 8 bit centronic data flow and have nearly the Printer Port connections, the main exception is Pin 9: D7

But since Amstrad have the connection for D7 on pin 9 is GND, does anyone think that leaving pin 9 connected would causd any problems on the Amstrad?

The Retro-Printer can be configured to handle 7 bit data instead of 8 bits, so that will not be a problem
