Atari520STFM - Repeated characters

Hi there,
I am having problems with the print outs from my Atari 520STFM using the RetroPrinter. I am using the program '1stWord' and my print outs have repeated characters. I have seen on a previous thread, with respect to the STE and MegaSTE models, to change the printer_delay settings to 50, but this hasn't resolved the problem.

What would I need to change ?

Try the handshaking settings too - it sounds as though the computer is missing the busy or acknowledge signals and just resending the character
