updating the MicroSDHC card

Hi there, yesterday, I got a new SanDisk 16GB. card. Tried to install rpi3.31-32 and versions 3.29,-28,27,26,25, until finally rpi3.24-32 installed without any errors. But ever since I first try to update the card, I haven't been able to get anything to work. Went back to rpi3.19f. But I think the module may have had something burn out, it smell like something was burning and the box felt hot and the data light quit flashing, and the printer (doesn't wake up) doesn't do anything even after the light quit flashing. So I decided to order a new unit. Even if I do get this old unit working, it doesn't hurt to have a spare. Setup consist of a C64C or Ultimate 64, Micrografix MW-350 Printer Interface (1984,86) and a HP Envy 5530 USB printer. Take care.
