Migration from Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ to Raspberry Pi 5

Good day.
Is it possible to migrate from a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ to a Raspberry Pi 5?
Also, is it possible to use an NVMe adapter to increase the memory?

I do know of someone that has tried our software on a Pi 5 so we know it all works.

It will of course not fit our case (as the layout of the Pi was changed with the Pi 4).

It should work with an NVMe adapter to increase the storage (not memory as such) - I believe that these use the power, GND and ID_SD and ID_SC pins.
ID_SD and ID_SC are pins 27 and 28 - thankfully, the Retro-Printer HAT only uses pins 1 to 26. You would of course need to extend the pins through the NVMe adaptor however, so that the Retro-Printer HAT can plug into the top.
